U.S. sandwich franchise Jimmy John's will open a store in Gangnam, Seoul, in October, the company announced on Thursday.
This will be Jimmy John's first store in South Korea and its first in Asia.
Jimmy John's will give away one of its signature sandwiches to the first 100 customers from 10 a.m. on the opening day, Oct. 24.
Jimmy John's will also be giving away the company’s merchandise.
Jimmy John's opened its first store in 1983 in Charleston, Illinois, and currently operates more than 2,600 stores in the U.S.
