BTS’ FAKE LOVE has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the group’s fifth track to hit the milestone on the world’s largest music streaming platform.
The dark, emotional track previously reached No. 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 42 on the UK Official Singles Chart. It was part of LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’ — the first Korean album ever to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a moment that etched K-pop into global pop history.
On Spotify, BTS has already racked up 2 billion streams with Dynamite, while My Universe, Butter, and Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey) — along with FAKE LOVE — have each surpassed the 1 billion mark. In all, the group has an astonishing 127 songs that have been streamed more than 100 million times.
BTS member Jungkook, meanwhile, continues to blaze his own trail. His solo track 3D has also broken past 1 billion streams, giving him four songs in the billion club — more than any other K-pop solo artist. The record joins Seven, Standing Next to You, and Left and Right, underscoring his standing as one of today’s most-streamed artists worldwide.
