South Korean homegrown burger and chicken brand Mom's Touch & Co. said on Wednesday that it signed a master franchise agreement with Laos-based Kolao Group to establish stores in the Southeast Asian country.
"Laos is one of the key countries in the ASEAN region, experiencing strong economic growth in recent years," a Mom's Touch source said.
"With increasing interest in Korean culture and cuisine, Laos presents significant potential for expanding Korean dining businesses," he added.
Mom's Touch operates 15 outlets in Japan, Thailand, and Mongolia, aiming to expand further into Indonesia, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan.
