Hanmi Semiconductor named world’s top 10 chip equipment maker

South Korean chip equipment maker Hanmi Semiconductor Co. on Thursday said it made the world’s top 10 in the rankings of TechInsights, a global semiconductor research and analysis company.

The list was based a a survey of semiconductor equipment clients worldwide. Hanmi was also named the best company of its kind in assembly equipment for chip processing.

“We are proud to be the Republic of Korea’s only semiconductor equipment company rank with world-class counterparts like ASML, Lam Research and Applied Materials in the 2023 TechInsights customer satisfaction survey,” Hanmi CEO Shin Dong-kwak said. “We will keep striving for customer satisfaction.”

TechInsights, an Ottawa, Canada-based company that analyzes cutting-edge chip technologies and intellectual property, has high expertise in researching and analyzing patent rights.
