AmazeVR, a virtual reality (VR) concert production and distribution platform company, said on Friday that "Aespa VR Concert at Kwangya" was officially invited to South by Southwest (SXSW), the world's largest music festival to be held in Austin, the US in March this year. SXSW is a cultural event with hundreds of thousands of participants from over 100 countries across the world.

The Aespa VR Concert at Kwangya invited to SXSW is a VR concert produced by Studio A, a joint venture established in July last year by Studio Kwangya, a subsidiary of AmazeVR and SM Entertainment. This is Aespa's first VR concert debut. Studio A is presenting immersive VR concerts for global artists and K-pop artists, including SM-affiliated ones, by using AmazeVR's VR concert production tools.

Here, a variety of songs including Aespa's debut song Black Mamba will be presented. Filming has now been completed, and the final work for the production of the VR concert is underway.

"SXSW will be an opportunity to show AmazeVR's technology and SM's scalability toward metaverse contents. We plan to put up many more VR concerts in the future," said Park Jun-young, SM Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer. Aespa's VR concert to be held in June this year will also be available on AmazeVR's metaverse app.

"Soon enough, fans will be able to enjoy the performances of their favorite artists right in front of their eyes on AmazeVR's music metaverse app," said Lee Seung-jun, CEO of AmazeVR.
