Jeju Air Co., a South Korean budget airline, said on Thursday that it would resume its flights connecting Incheon with two small cities in Japan, Matsuyama and Shizuoka, starting from Mar. 26. The flights will run three times a week, marking the first time since they were suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jeju Air is currently the only domestic airline offering flights to Matsuyama and Shizuoka, both popular tourist destinations known for their unique attractions. To commemorate the resumption of its Matsuyama and Shizuoka routes, Jeju Air is offering a discount event until 5 pm on Feb. 5, with one-way tickets for flights between Incheon and Matsuyama available for 88,100 won ($72) and flights between Incheon and Shizuoka available for 91,800 won ($75).

In addition, the airline is offering promotions for all its routes to Japan, including flights from Incheon to Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Okinawa, Shizuoka, and Matsuyama, as well as flights from Gimpo to Osaka and Busan to Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, and Fukuoka.
