Namkoong Whon, the former CEO of South Korea’s Kakao Corp., announced on Friday that he founded artificial intelligence (AI)-based entertainment company AIZ Entertainment.

The name of this company combines AIZ (plural of AI) and entertainment. Each of the AI personas is given a personality of the child, ultimately aiming for a multitude of personas.

AIZ plans to introduce a platform of AI content focusing on creating fandom through a community. In addition, it will make a new entertainment culture with AI-based content by enhancing communication between AI personas and users.

Led by CEO Namkoong, AIZ sets a goal to strengthen its competitiveness and lead the AI market with experts in games, messengers, and AI.

"I'd like to allow users of AIZ to experience various forms of immersive interaction of fandom-centered AI content," Namkoong said. "AIZ will set a new paradigm in the market of AI content and entertainment."
