South Korea's cosmetic and clothing company APR announced on Wednesday that it completed its second plant, the APR Factory Pyeongtaek 2 Campus.
The APR Factory Pyeongtaek 2 Campus was built 10 months after the inauguration of the company’s first factory in Gasan-dong, Seoul in July last year.
Following its stock market debut earlier this year, APR revealed its strategy to use the Pyeongtaek 2 Campus as a base to accelerate expansion into international markets.
Equipped with 12 production lines, APR aims to ramp up its production capacity to 8 million devices annually by 2025.
The company has also revamped its logistics system, incorporating a new conveyor and automatic labeling system to streamline operations and reduce working hours.
An APR spokesperson highlighted the strategic location of the Pyeongtaek 2 Campus near Pyeongtaek Port, a key global logistics hub, positioning it to meet the growing global demand for beauty devices.
