LG CNS Co., a leading South Korean IT service provider, has launched Enerdict, an AI-powered solution designed to optimize the operations of virtual power plants (VPPs), the companyt said on Wednesday.
VPP operators often face challenges in managing and coordinating diverse, distributed energy resources to meet real-time energy demand.
Enerdict automates the process of optimizing power generation within VPPs, ensuring efficient compliance with grid dispatch instructions.
To facilitate global adoption, LG CNS plans to offer Enerdict as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution.
This approach will enable easy deployment and scalability for VPP operators worldwide.
As South Korea accelerates its transition to a low-carbon future, the demand for VPPs is growing.
LG CNS is actively engaging with energy, telecommunications, and construction companies to introduce Enerdict and help them capitalize on this emerging market.
